Exploring Asheville

We enjoyed lunching at Curate in Asheville, North Carolina! This Spanish tapa style restaurant is right on Biltmore Avenue amongst many other notable restaurants. Curate is a popular spot that is known for their creative dishes and the fact that their chef is a James Beard Award Finalist. After hearing all of the great reviews we knew we had to make a stop here! The small, delicious plates made for the perfect lunch! We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay, and chose a couple of tapas to share from the menu. These included a cucumber gazpacho, Gambas al Ajillo (a sautéed shrimp and garlic dish-the #1 tapa in Asheville) and Esqueixada de Montaño (Sunburst Farms trout served raw w/ tomato fresco, black olive, sweet onion, lemon vinaigrette. Check out the menu and make a stop here when you’re in the area, you won’t regret it! 😋
