Can you tell I’m crazy about the Asheville restaurant scene? During our visit we made a stop at a place called Limones for dinner. It was a packed house, but we found two seats up at the bar for dinner and drinks. Our night started with one of their signature margaritas. We ordered the Margarita Caliente which is made up of Sauza Tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, a hint of berry and habanero, hand shaken with a salt rim. I am a margarita girl, and this one has had me searching for other spicy margaritas that can compare! We ordered the Camarones a la Diabla on the left. This reminded me of a modern and elevated shrimp and grits. This dish is made of spicy shrimp with green chile rice, avocado, arugula, cotija cheese, chipotle crema. The dish we ordered on the right was salmon over a bed of broccolini topped with tomatoes and pickled onions. Both of these plates had delicious sauces and broths that really amped up the flavor and made these dishes shine! I am constantly dreaming about these mouthwatering entrees! I would highly recommend stopping into Limones for a brunch or dinner that you won’t forget!
